The Keepers

The Keepers are the executive leadership team of The Reliquery—a council of highly competent and publicly professional individuals who manage the Omniversal operation with a corporate finesse that rivals the largest multiversal conglomerates. While they present themselves as orderly and unified, behind the scenes they are a ruthless collection of conniving, backstabbing, and power-hungry individuals—many secretly influenced by the shadowy will of Keeper Ea of Black.

Despite their true nature, the Keepers maintain a corporate-friendly image, releasing strategic updates, presenting at interdimensional business summits, and engaging in carefully crafted PR campaigns to ensure that The Reliquery remains an indispensable force in Omniversal affairs.

Each Keeper represents a fundamental principle that guides The Reliquery. While Ion of Gold, Momolafrea of Silver, and Vex Durnham of Copper are considered relatively benevolent, the rest are... less so. Personal agendas, political maneuvering, and outright hostility are all part of daily life in the Council of Nine.

Keeper Ion of Gold

Codename: The Silent Architect
Designation: Supreme Keeper
Current Status: Presiding Neutral Arbitrator of the Nine
Realm of Origin: Unknown (Possibly Pre-Ionic Epoch)
Species: Unconfirmed (Presents as Ancient Gnome)

Operational Form: Ion appears as a small, withered gnome in ceremonial gold vestments, with eyes that glow like distant starlight. Frail in form but immense in presence, his arrival in any room has a gravity all its own. He never speaks directly—only through his mysterious Vocal Proxy known as The Auricular, a robed figure who delivers Ion’s words with eerie precision and perfect timing. The delay, it is said, is intentional—a safeguard built into every exchange.

The Silence That Commands: Ion of Gold is the most enigmatic and revered of the Keepers. Supreme Keeper of The Reliquery, and by all accounts the most ancient of its leaders, Ion rarely exerts direct control. Instead, he serves as a still point around which the chaos of the Council turns. His silence is not absence. It is architecture.

Rumors suggest Ion only speaks directly to one person: Danger Gordon. Whether this is truth or myth is a matter of debate among Keepers—and a matter of grave concern among those who believe it.

Keeper Momolafrea of Silver

Codename: The Faceless Dancer
Designation: Keeper of Inter-Realm Relations
Current Status: Diplomatic Envoy to the Shattered Concord
Realm of Origin: The Mirror Realms of Elisar
Species: Unknown (Presumed Shapechanger)

Operational Form: Momolafrea has no fixed appearance. She is a shape-shifter whose form changes based on who is observing her. To some, she appears as a beloved friend; to others, a terrifying authority figure. This is not illusion—it is adaptive projection, an ancient and possibly involuntary trait tied to her native realm.

Whispers and Reflections: Momolafrea is considered the most approachable of the Keepers, largely because she tells people exactly what they want to hear. A master of diplomacy, she navigates interdimensional politics like a dancer weaving between blades. Her calm, empathetic

Keeper Vex Durnham of Copper

Codename: The Dealbreaker
Designation: Keeper of Acquisitions and Asset Recovery
Current Status: On Probation (again)
Realm of Origin: Capitalis Prime
Species: Human(ish?)

Operational Form: Vex appears as a sharply dressed humanoid in an ever-changing, aggressively stylish copper suit. His grin is unsettlingly wide, his eyes shimmer with predatory glee, and his contract briefcase is rumored to be a minor artifact that can bind the soul of anyone who signs the wrong clause.

The Art of the Steal: Vex Durnham is not to be trusted—and that’s precisely why he’s trusted with some of the most dangerous acquisitions in the Omniverse. No one cuts a deal better, bends a rule further, or recovers a “misplaced” artifact faster. Of course, there’s usually a cost.

He’s been exiled, reinstated, sued by three different Realities, and still shows up to every Council meeting with a fresh haircut and a cup of overpriced coffee. Vex is loyal—just not to any one person, realm, or timeline. He's loyal to The Deal, and so far, The Deal has never lost.

Keeper Aquelarestra of Blue

Codename: The Convergence
Designation: Keeper of Thought, Memory, and Temporal Flow
Current Status: Actively Manifesting Across Multiple Timestreams
Realm of Origin: The Cyclonic Libraries of Varn
Species: Thoughtform Entity (Anchored via Host Vessel)

Operational Form: Aquelarestra rarely maintains a single, stable form. She appears as a roiling figure of swirling robes, drifting hair, and arcane diagrams that orbit her body like moons around a star. Her voice echoes inside the minds of those present—occasionally arriving before she speaks.

All Knowledge is Noise: Keeper of memory and time, Aquelarestra sees the Omniverse as a vast wave-function collapsing into meaning only when observed. She rarely engages in direct action, preferring to “whisper correction” into the flow of events.

Some say she is a collective consciousness from a broken library dimension. Others say she’s what happens when a god overdoses on information. Regardless, she is trusted to protect (or obscure) key memories, historical data, and time-sensitive secrets within The Reliquery. She is also known to exist at multiple points in a conversation, often winning arguments before they start.

Keeper "Delilah" Van Ddall of White

Codename: The Puppeteer
Designation: Keeper of Indoctrination and Recruitment
Current Status: Under Tribunal Review (See: Keeper Ea)
Realm of Origin: The Ven Ddall Veins of Zenda
Species: Ancient White Dragon (Disguised as Human)

Operational Form: Delilah presents herself as a calm, charismatic woman in white robes. Her presence radiates trust. Her words wrap around you like a blanket. Her true form, however, is a gargantuan Ven Ddall dragon—one of the few remaining apex entities from the Age of Dread. Her charm is not a façade. It is a perfected weapon.

The Smile That Lies: Delilah oversees recruitment into The Reliquery, and is responsible for training new Reclaimers, manipulating prospective allies, and crafting the narratives that keep The Reliquery functioning across realms. She appears when she is needed… or when it benefits her personal goals.

Delilah is a master of projection magic, emotional manipulation, and long-term planning. Her loyalty is often questioned, especially after the “Camborandelah Incident,” but she remains officially within the Council—albeit under close watch by Keeper Ea of Black. Many believe she is playing a deeper game. Everyone else knows she already won it.

Keeper Ea of Black

Codename: The Hidden Engine
Designation: Keeper of Power, Secrets, and Strategic Malfunctions
Current Status: Active and Unmonitored
Realm of Origin: The Cauldron of Zenda
Species: Unknown (Possibly Demon, Possibly Concept)

Operational Form: Ea appears as a figure wrapped in shadow, smoke, and layered black armor that seems to hum with suppressed energy. His face is always obscured. His voice causes minor headaches in lesser minds. His presence is described as “inevitable.”

The Power Behind the Curtain: Ea is the most dangerous of the Keepers—not just because of what he knows, but because of how much of it he controls. He is believed to be the mastermind behind The Reliquery’s most ruthless policies, as well as the architect of several catastrophic events attributed to “calculated errors.”

While Ion of Gold holds the title of Supreme Keeper, many believe Ea is the true engine of The Reliquery. He rarely speaks in Council unless absolutely necessary—but when he does, things happen. Fast.

Delilah answers to him. Vex fears him. The Modrons “malfunction” in his presence. The only thing anyone agrees on is that Ea has a plan—and you’re already in it.

Keeper Aerelos of Green

Codename: The Verdant Blade
Designation: Keeper of Environmental Affairs and Wild Expansion
Current Status: Self-Appointed Warden of Unlicensed Growth
Realm of Origin: The Overwild Expanse
Species: Archdruidic Elf (Possibly Devolved God)

Operational Form: Aerelos appears as a towering elven figure cloaked in living moss, vines, and armor shaped from hardened bark and bone. His eyes glow green with photosynthetic fury. His scent is that of rain before a battle.

Nature Doesn't Ask: Aerelos is the voice of the natural realms within The Reliquery, but he doesn’t speak often. He roars, occasionally. Or plants an entire forest over someone’s illegal mining operation. He is considered both the most compassionate and the most violently reactive of the Keepers.

He has declared war on six industrial planes, enacted dozens of Omniversal environmental regulations, and once released a stampede of sapient elk through the Department of Logistics during a zoning dispute. He is not against civilization—he just believes it should know its place, and that place is somewhere between “less arrogant” and “extinct.”
